About Lou Marzeles
Lou Marzeles is the author of Love in the Age of AI, Prodigal Angel, Life for the Reality Impaired, The Promise of Purpose, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Education. With a background in education policy and a career spanning music, journalism, humor, philosophy, and social commentary, he brings a unique blend of intellectual depth and human sensitivity to questions at the edge of technology and emotion.
Lou has long explored how systems—both societal and digital—shape human experience. Love in the Age of AI is his most intimate work to date, an inquiry not only into artificial intelligence but into the enduring mystery of human connection.
He is an award-winning songwriter and performer, film composer, and a licensed psychoacoustician. His plays "Alice Goes to Therapy" and "Going Up" were produced in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and Hood River, Oregon, respectively.
He lives in the Pacific Northwest, where he continues to write, reflect, laugh, compose and perform music, and converse with the quieter revolutions of our time.
