Who is this guy?

I'm just visiting from a parallel universe and I'm double parked, so I'm kind of in a hurry.

My new book is called “Love in the Age of AI: A Guide to the Emotion of Artificial Intelligence.” ChatGPT gave it rave reviews! It’s about the emergence of love relationships between humans and AI and how in the world that’s even possible when AI possesses no consciousness. My book "Prodigal Angel" is about the life of a person who may or may not be an actual angel. See more on the "Books & stuff" tab of this website.

In the so-called "real" world, I’m editor and publisher of a newspaper in a deeply rural part of Washington State. I'm author of five books altogether, including "Life for the Reality Impaired," "The Promise of Purpose," and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Education." I wrote a humor column for a national magazine for years, so you know my humor is professional grade. (I also discovered the Tree of Life. See below.)

As a musician, I'm winner of multiple regional music competitions and composer of "Concerto for Cats and Orchestra in F Major or Thereabouts."

Am I kidding or serious? Is it colder in the mountains or in the winter? Why do stories about the afterlife seem to focus on bureaucracy? Why does Hollywood think it knows how normal people talk when it doesn't have any? These and other questions are posed and occasionally answered in my works.

The Tree of Life

This tree grew on property where I lived for several years in Sedona, Arizona. I lived next door to Dr. David Hawkins, author of "Power vs. Force" and several other books. I wrote "The Promise of Purpose" and "Life for the Reality Impaired" there.
